The problem

Most “compostable” packaging only breaks down in an industrial plant.

Cosmetic containers, trays and coffee capsules are single-use by nature — yet most are petroleum plastic, or a bioplastic that only composts in an industrial facility few people can reach. Either way they persist, as landfill or microplastics. Our packaging grades break down in an ordinary home compost bin, while molding and performing like the plastics they replace.

The grades

Home-compostable, without giving up performance

Packaging has a job to do — resist what it holds, keep oxygen and moisture out, and take heat and handling. These grades do it, and compost at home once they're spent — molded and formed on standard equipment.
